May is National Mental Health Awareness month, and we’re excited to partner with the National Alliance on Mental Illness to host a free Family and Friends Seminar. If you know, love, care for, support, work with, or advocate for someone living with mental illness, this is a great opportunity to learn skills and find support to be a better partner in their mental health journey. Whether you call First Rowlett your church home or not, we hope you’ll join us for this important event.

Our brand-new mom’s group is inviting families for a play date at Waterview Park on April 29 at 1:00 0am. This is a great opportunity to invite your mom friends and get to know one another before the next Spring Preview on Wednesday, May 13 at 10:00 am. The next Spring Preview is a Mother’s Day Tea, and even if your children are grown and flown, we’d love for you to join us. Motherhood is hard but it’s so much sweeter with mom friends who know the journey and can love and support one another along the way. Regardless of your age and season of life as a mom, we hope you’ll join us.
Vacation Bible School

This year's Vacation Bible School will be July 12-15 from 6:00-8:30 pm. Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a life-long adventure, discovering the nature of God, and exploring what it means to be rooted in relationship with their creator, a safe place in life's storms.
