Don Shelley serves as the Director of Worship Ministries at First Rowlett. He is the coordinator for the Sunday morning worship services, where he directs the Sanctuary Choir and Handbell Ensemble.

He is the coordinator for the worship instrumentalists, praise team, sound team, children's choirs, and all worship volunteers. Don married wife Sandy in 1984 and they have two adult children: Sarah and her husband, Roland, and Scott and his wife Shelby.  Don and Sandy have four beautiful grandchildren.  

Don received his Bachelor of Music degree from Southwest Texas State University and received his Master of Music Education degree from the University of North Texas. He is a past Vice-President for the Texas Choral Directors Association.
